Arctica Advisory is led by Sienna Shankel, who sets the firm’s analytical orientation, institutional positioning, and governance standards across all advisory engagements.
Sienna also serves as Principal Analyst of Arctica Risk, an independent research platform focused on climate risk and financial systems. In that role, she oversees the development of analytical frameworks and research programs that inform the advisory practice, while remaining structurally separate from applied client work.
Advisory work is further informed by exploratory research conducted through Arctica Lab, where potential financial structures intended to support risk reduction are examined at the design and feasibility stage. Insights from this work contribute to the practice’s understanding of structural viability, institutional constraints, and design trade-offs, without constituting product development, deployment, or execution.
Sienna holds a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies with a focus on Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, and is completing graduate study in Data Science at Harvard University, with an emphasis on quantitative methods relevant to risk modeling and system behavior.
